New Exhibition Launches on First Friday, October 3 at 7 pm!

In its new exhibition entitled “Students/Teachers; Hopes/Fears,” Works/San Jose will showcase the talents of local Intermediate and High School students beginning First Friday, October 3, 2008 at 7 pm at 451 S. Bay Area Bands Rock Out at Works/San Jose this Saturday!

The Albert Square and other indie rock bay area bands are performing this Saturday, 9/20 at Works/San Jose–”the” place for the South Bay community to experiment, exhibit and engage located at 451 South First Street. Works Boasts a “Three-fer” Today, First Friday, Sept. 5

You can bet we were tickled to open The Mercury News today and see Sal Pizarro’s column about Works/ San Jose’s main designer and dedicated volunteer Board member, Joe Miller. We are honored that he will be opening his typography and poetry exhibition at Space 47 tonight, while Works inaugurates printmaker Fanny Retsek’s residency and showcases the musical talents of Benjamin Brackett.
