Join us for the opening of the exhibition ‘remote/control’ during the SubZERO Festival. The show consists of eight Bay Area artists including John Bruneau, Jason Challas, Joe DeLappe, Joseph Kohnke, Sheila Malone, James Morgan, Tom Riebold, and Shannon Wright. , who will utilize electronic reproductions, signals, and transmissions to reflect concepts of mass media production, representations of “self” in virtual spaces, and the illusion of control that personal electronic devices create in our world. The show was guest curated by Sheila Malone and Jason Challas.

What:The 2nd Annual SubZERO FESTIVAL takes place on South First Street between San Carlos and Reed streets. It’s a diy, artistically bent, hi/lo-techno-mashup where street meets geek presented by ZER01 and South First Fridays.
From 6pm ‘til midnight you’ll find two stages of entertainment plus 100 artists, performers, and musicians celebrating the indie creative spirit!
